How do you feel?

by Niezzam on Feb.26, 2008, under MyLife

Kesian aku tengok wanita2 tolak kereta ni kalau kereta dorang kena halang.

Kalau boleh aku nak tolak kereta ni sampai hilang dari pandangan so tuan punya kereta ni tak tau mana kereta dia

Gambar dirakam pada pukul 12 tengah hari.

Kalau menghalang kereta org lain setiap hari takpa, tapi keluar la awal.

A modified version of Phoogle Maps

by Niezzam on Feb.24, 2008, under PHP, Programming

If you want to include Google Maps in your project or your website using PHP, the use of Phoogle Maps is highly recommended. It is a PHP class that integrates with Google Map API and Google Geocoding API. To know about Phoogle Maps, you can go to http://www.systemsevendesigns.com/phoogle

The version in above example will get work done with at least 5 lines of PHP. Currently, I’m working one project that involves Google Maps API. After a few days studying Phoogle class, I’ve modified and added some functions to satisfy my requirements.

You can take a look and download the modified version of Phoogle class here

My modified version includes:

  • Latitude & Longitud conversion to decimal function
  • Icon picker function.
  • KML appender function

This version also automatically set the center of the map once the class is called, make it a lot easier. The icon picker function give you some options for your marker icon, instead of the default icon.

If you ever want to highlight your own roads and paths, you need to include the KML files and append them into Google Map API. To cater this, I’ve added KML Appender function in this modified version.

I hope with my little contribution, I can help others.

Filem Redline, bagus ke?

by Niezzam on Feb.23, 2008, under Entertainment, Movies, MyLife

Setelah seminggu menyepi tanpa sebarang post baru, hari ni baru berkesempatan utk menulis tentang filem Redline yg sedang ditayangkan di panggung. Asyik sibuk minggu ni, :)

Photobucket

So aku pun download la. Dah siap download, terus main, layan…

Lepas je habis tengok, aku pun bersyukur. Kenapa? Kerana aku tak membazirkan RM10 utk tiket wayang filem ni. Filem yg menghampakan, dull, flat.

It’s totally about racing and big money.

Rating out of 10 : 4/10

Season Finale of The Amazing Race Asia 2

by Niezzam on Feb.15, 2008, under Amazing Race Asia Season 2, Entertainment, TV Shows

This season The Amazing Race Asia has come to end. Last season, it kicked off at Malaysia, ended up at Kuching, Malaysia and the winner was also from Malaysia. This time around, the history repeats itself. It started at Singapore, ended up at Singapore, and Singaporean team won the race. What a coincidence!

Colin & Andrian, the underdog who came in second in most of the leg, finally won The Amazing Race Asia Season 2 and brought home the grand prize of USD 100,000. The sisters from Malaysia, Pamela & Vanessa came in second and the fan favourite, Marc & Rovilson ended up third.

Some says, knowledge is power. I agree 100%! That’s what separate the teams especially in the last task. Even though going into the last task of the race in first, Marc & Rovilson couldn’t take advantage on that.

Rovilson had problem recognising the flag of the countries that they had visited through out the race hence Pam & Vanessa and Adrian & Collin got passed them.

Congratulation to Adrian & Collin. It shows that even with disability, if you put a lot of effort, determination and never give up attitude, you will achieve what you want.

While for Marc & Rovilson, I feel sad about them. Even though they did not win, they have already won the heart of the fans with their characters. As for Pam & Vanessa, god jobs girls! You made all Malaysians proud!
